Just a few videos this month.

1) “Fade Into You” – Mazzy Star – 10/2/1994 – Shoreline Amphitheatre (Official)

Heartbreaking. This video gives the power to the introverts.

“It’s a really good song,” singer Hope Sandoval told news.com.au. “It’s just one of those things.”

Album: “So Tonight That I Might See” (1993)
Label: Capitol

2) “The Suburbs” – Arcade Fire – (Live At Earls Court)

In my previous Live Music Round-Up, I shared Father John Misty’s cover of this song. I also mentioned in the Mercury Rev description that one of my favourite gigs ever was an Arcade Fire one. Well in June 2014, when Arcade Fire were touring their album “The Reflektor”, I got to see them at Earl’s Court and this is a video from that very show. It is the first song on their 2010 album “The Suburbs”.

Album: “The Suburbs” (2010)
Label: Arcade Fire Music Under Exclusive License to Sony Music Entertainment

3) “Bonkers” – Dizzee Rascal – Jools Holland Later Sept 22 2009

This is incredible. I’m not sure why the official BBC / Later Live YouTube channel hasn’t uploaded the original from the archives but in the meantime this will do. Guthrie Govan shredding the country guitar, this elevates the original version. “Bonkers” was made by Dizzee and Armand Van Helden and was the first single from Dizzee Rascal’s fourth album “Tongue n’ Cheek.”

Album: “Tongue N’ Cheek” (2011)
Label: Dirtee Stank Recordings under exclusive licence to Universal Island Records
